Writings for Dream Creation (1997-1998)

Living in London from September 1996 to February 1998, I met a lot of people in the trance scene. It didn’t take long before I was introduced to the people at Dream Creation, a free publication that covered trance events and releases. Being a writer at heart, I decided to contribute some articles about trance in general; I then started covering specific events and interviewing artists. My work for them ended when I moved to Japan – not because I was not willing to write for them, but because of their ludicrous decisions like not running a review of something as high-profile as an Issey Miyake fashion show in Paris that Tsuyoshi DJ’d (I was the only writer with a psytrance angle there) and as they ‘forgot’ on more than one occasion to provide me with even one copy of issues for which I had written major features. It was a fun gig while it lasted, and below is a number of my favourite writings for them.
